Spring has sprung in Peermont as #1595 (an Erie 2-8-0) rounds the bend with the local. He has a boxcar for the LCL's, an empty milk car for the dairy and a 60' coach to bring in the workers from Suffern.
Billy is bringing a package to Bubba "The Stationmaster" at the station. Actually, the "station" is a general store, and Bubba is the manager, who fancies himself as a Big Railroad Man.
Jeb and Earl are taking a break from their morning work. They've just noticed that the sky is looking a little peculiar... The clouds look kinda flat... The sun looks like a collection of glowing tubes instead of a glowing ball... Very strange.........
