Accumate HO a better coupler for On30?

I have read about the two part knuckle couplers (like Accumates) in Nscale - I think they are from Microtrains? In any case, "uncoupling levers" were added by drilling a hole into the side of the coupler and installing piano wire. That way two cars could be uncoupled by squeezing the levers on two cars, negating the need to reach in between with a tool, etc.

Might make a good addition to On30 couplers...?
