    Wrenn locomotive

Wrenn Sorry no pics. The cable for my camera is missing. I was able to turn the motor by hand and the drivetrain moved but when I put electricity to the wheels which are spotless it acts like it can't move. It will just vibrate and shake a little.

Hi. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. On Saturday I went to the Train Expo in Monroeville and bought an engine that I need some help with. It is a BR maroon City of London duchess class locomotive by Wrenn. When I bought it and took it to the test track it didn't want to go. The guy said it...

    Flying Scotsman

No offense Southern RR but that is possibly the furthest thing from what we are discussing. Your trainset is of an LMS Royal Scot class while we are talking about LNER A1/A3 Pacific class Flying Scotsman. I will try to attach pictures. Flying Scotsman Royal Scot

    Does OO = HO??

No your thinking of 0-27. OO is the british equivalent of Ho but instead of being 1:87 scale it is usually 1:72, 1:74, or 1:76 scale.

    More British Layout Pics

I can not believe you have the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway blue livaried class 2p. (4-4-0) Everytime I try and get one on ebay the price shoots up to about well lets just say the last one was out of my price range by about 350 dollars. I love the blue livery. I am currently trying to get one...

    Flying Scotsman

There is no difference between the two pictures you have. The one with the "elephant ears" will probably have a double chimney because the National Railway Museum decorated it for some reason. Poor Flying Scotsman. It has changed hands and apperance god knows how many times through its life...

    Does OO = HO??

Bachmann has replaced the Spectrum controller and just specifically for all my hornby I bought an HM4000 controller and a step down converter. All my engines-british, german, american, italian, french- they all work beautifully with it, including Acela. That is the part I am still trying to...

    EZ Track, yes or no?

You could use the two if you elevate the atlas at the joint and make a steady downslope. That is what I do with my hornby and ez track to use my hornby turntable because I don't have a permanent layout yet. (Reason for that is grandparents just moved to Florida and we got their stuff going...
