ok what can i use to operate my swtiches using dcc ?

Hello I live in wilmington NC and am looking to get an over view of local dcc layouts and maybe a little(lot?) of mentoring. i have a bunch of older steam engines to decoderize and some diesels. any help will be greatly appriciated

I have looked at you modeling and am very impressed and humbled. I have an On30 porter 0-4-2 and three mining cars i would like a small layout in this scale to work on. you layout planning is great. any chance you have a small minig layout handy?

the bus is a casting from a P&D marsh school bus that was cut down the caboose is a cut and paste from two i had that werent in running condition. the lead truck from an old pacific locomotive the kato chassis hopefully soon i will have it completed for its first run not sure what color to paint...

OK all this is my first try at modifing a locomotive. this is the docksider in allits little parts. first of all the NWSL gear box 139-6 .226 wide .646 long heigth is not a problem i have room for more weigth above the gear box. the original gear location is .336 wide .550 long...

woo hoo finally !!! i have built the frames three 2' x4' modules. layed out in an L shape. i found a nice track plan on a site. slightly modifiyrd to fit the space. i have just completed laying cork road bed on the main line.so far i think it looks good in my mind i see the steam engines running...

question for all has anyone ever used the model power flex track on their layout? if so what is your opinion? yes or no? thanks
