I want to echo Jim's comment on the benchwork. Having built a few layouts, I know from experience the layout is only as good as the benchwork. Needless to say my second layout was much better than the first.

While my main focus is Large Scale Live Steam, I also have the Hornby Live Steam Mallard. I detailed nine Hornby teak coaches with diaphrams and passengers to pull behind it. My plan is to build an elevated track with both G and HO loops. I'm looking for any leads for a decent steam era...
