While my main focus is Large Scale Live Steam, I also have the Hornby Live Steam Mallard. I detailed nine Hornby teak coaches with diaphrams and passengers to pull behind it. My plan is to build an elevated track with both G and HO loops.

I'm looking for any leads for a decent steam era british station kit to build. Most of the kits I've found tend to look more german, ie Faller and such. If anyone can recommend a good kit I'd appreciate it.

Thank you,

Kent

Check out Hornby's Scaledale series, except that's already built.
Ratio have a plastic station kit, but it's Great Western. (Are you fussy about that?)
Prototype Models make (or made) an LNER station kit in cardboard. Also an LMS one. For card models, these are real craftsman type kits.
Metcalfe and Superquick make much easier card kits.
Peco make a station roof -- the arched one that goes over the platforms for a terminus. Not sure about the rest of the station.

Do you have any more detailed specs on what you need?
I can put you in touch with dealers over here if you decide on a model. (Mailing the card kits is not reliable unless you're experienced.)
