Tie Predator design

The template for the Marauder is almost done so I'm looking for a new design project for the weekends.
I will go for the Tie Predator below some pictures.

And I also found a nice looking blue print that I can use.

It is a very simple looking model but there are several challenges that I would like to tackle>
The Sphere is not the problem but the moveable wing construction is a nice part to work on.
There are not that much details on it but in this case less is more.

I started with the wing construction and it was not that hard to figure out how to construct it. So I have done a lot of work on this Sunday morning.

Yes, another excellent model.

Its weekend so back to drawing some parts of the Predator.
I have worked on the rear section and here is some progress.


And the parts to build it.


Next up are the wings did some work on it last week only need to add some deteils.

Yes indeed its not that hard compared with the Marauder.

And I have a new update on the front side of the wing.


And here are the parts.

Next will be the rear side of the wing.
Im thinking to use grey board to make a thicker wing maybe 1 mm thickness is enough.
