This may be a stupid question, but if I want to build a larger model from an existing pdf file, for example, print all pages at 150% size, will all the parts still fit together or is there some quirk of scaling whereby some parts will be out of alignment?

Thanks,

Mike

If they all fit on the paper when you do that, no, you should not have any problem. I usually use Photoshop CS3 to take each part and then re-arrange them.

I took the "Lilla Weneda" model, which I believe was 1/100 scale, and made it into 1/50th scale, it came out 28 inches long. It went from a 3 or 4 page model, to 27 pages! I was able to add a lot of extra parts that allowed a build up, like life savers, doubling rails, etc. because some parts ended up taking the whole page up diagonally, and I could not see wasting all that bank space. A lot of those spare parts later really worked out well, as it is the small parts I usually "flub" with my fat fingers. :)
