SR-71 Blackbird; MP Model; 1/33

Thank you!!:)

Abdullahsamir - Well, I am building the model as if it is a ship. Each section of skin have a conecting strip that will help to glue and allign the next piece of skin.
There is a risk in case of some misaligment or some design error. Until now in general everything fits well. I was much afraid of design problems but until it fits!
I only complain about the bad instructions and some wrong part numbers.
I think this model with some more effort could be really good. Still, so far it's not bad.

I started making the engines.
This should be a simple work but it turns out it isn't. Some pieces in the back of the model have the wrong number in the instructions. Also the instructions aren't very clear.
To complicate more, I don't like the solution of the designer in puting the joint of the engine cones facing outward. So I will try to change that.

If you are talking about the base of the shock cone, which looks to be part 62a, paint them red, to represent the red 'Remove Before Flight' plugs.

well its the part 62a and the cone that have a joint facing outboard. I will change the angle of the 62a and invert the cone position in order that the part joint will face inward.

I don't skin aircraft this way, but you are doing an excellent job. A fantastic job! :)

After some difficulties described in the previous post, here is the result.
Each nacelle is basically the length of an F-16!SR71 - 43.jpg
