I am helping to build a local railroad musuem. The creator showed me the flashers for a railroad crossing. He baught it for $10 at the local junk yard! There was no electronics in it.

Tonight from JC Whitney's web site I baught a flasher that is used to flash police cars head lights. He wants to use it on 12v.

Now it even gets better! An employee at the junk yard dropped off the actual crossing sign yesterday. The WC/CN took it to the junk yard brand new in the box!

My job is to get the lights flashing!:D

Hey Andy, Nice Finds!!!:) Just as well it didn't have the electronics.:) A lot of that signal stuff was 32 Volts DC anyway and accomplished the flashing by alternating relays.
