Woody's Prairie Railroad

    Well I finally have some pictures of the layout that I have been working on for the last 1 1/2 years. The whole theme is the Canadian Prairies where farming, small towns and the oil patch intermingle. Much of my time has been deciding on and building models and acquiring moving stock . I have laid out everything that I have to date just to show off (lol). My work does not compare to some of work I have seen here, but it is my first try and I am slowly learning. I will be continuing work on the river and dam and then finish the wiring of the switches and then also finish the landscape grass next. I will continue to add pictures to this thread in the future how everafter March work will only continue next fall. :wave::wave:

    I think its a good start Woody. I havnt do any scenery as of yet so I will be learning as I go along also.:rolleyes::thumb::thumb:

    So your the guy... I have been looking for a second oil pump jack for my layout.... bah.... looks like a nice home for it.

    Your definitely off and running! That backdrop looks like something VanGogh would have done.
