why dont the companys do this.........

    MTH tells a little history and some little facts about all there engines in there books, years made,, how many sold and what not. why dont they do this with their rolling stock? it would make it easier to know what rolling stock fits what era, what engines should pull what type box cars and what not,

    i think all the manufactures should do this.

    That makes alot of sense. Maybe not for the catalogs since they cost money to print to begin with, but this kind of info should definitely be online. There is little if any extra cost in doing it online other than adding the information to the web page. But if they designed/researched the scale model, they already have this info so I don't see much cost.
