What do you all think of my rust'n things up?

Added a water tower; it's for the head, they kept the old style because of it's novelty.

I put rust on the Water towe, the garage awnings, around the A/C, around the air
vents, and on the "rain gutter."

Ken the rust looks fine, however........................ Them 3-mile island vines are distracting. The dark green part looks great but the glowing light green parts are what I'm talking about. If it's just the way the light/flash made em' look in the photo but they don't look like that in real life please disregard. :) BTW it's good to see you are really getting into the modeling!

Tyson- Thanks. The WS Burnt Grass is what I used for the light "dead" leaves.
The pic does distort the color, plus when done you won't be able to get as close as I was.

As far as the modeling... I finally said, "ARGH!! Just start doing it...
The others had to practice, too." :eek:ops:

Soooo... With meger tools in hand... Off I went.

Ken the rust and water overflow looks great. What I meant about the maintenance LBS not being around is if they were they would have put a fresh coat of paint. Most companies these days wouldn't spend the money so the look of your tank is realistic. Keep at it and keep posting photos please.

Matt- ahhh! now I see.

Great, I was going for the "been around for years, but parts of the place have
been remodeled/updated, expect not a lot of upkeep out-in-the-sticks kinda place."
(that's a mouth full...) :D

Actually I'm wait'n on some paint in J.D. colors. So's my LP Painters from the
Preiser Paint Co. can paint the off colors the building was painted long ago.
(can you say... Mini scenes) ;)

Tom-Thanks.
