I have a fastrack layout with a Lionel SP 6-28541 Tunnel Motor and two Lionel SP 6-11653 Mech Referes. They are all real nice. Im hoping to add two box cars. I like the "Railcar" I see three at-scale out there:

Atlas: 3rl Tman 50' 6" Box Car Railbox

    Lionel: 6-17272 and 6-27235

Since they all cost about the same and they can all be bought online anybody know which is "better"??? The Atlas is a Trainman series, not sure about that any thoughts?

The Atlas Trainman cars are more reasonably priced, more accurate, and a better buy IMO. Atlas' details are typically scale (more fragile) and require a light touch when handling.

The Lionel mechanical reefers are a bit overpriced (typical Lionel), and the frames that allow the doors to open are grossly oversized- a huge mistake for a scale car. Lionel's details are usually heavier and not scale, but allow for repeated handling without breakage.
