    Many, many projects on the drawing board. Here are a few:

    Porter 0-4-0 switcher;
    "Fishing" diorama with the boat, fisherman, and everything in and around the boat;
    Homey and Road Dawg (toys);
    Penny Racers- penny weighted rolling cardstock racing cars with launch pad.

    I had to put the Porter on the back burner for a bit. I want the detail to be accurate and the process was injuring my banged-up-brain. I may be ready to finish but I need some input first.

    Please vote for which project you would most like to see finished next.

    I say finish what you started then move on. Thats my vote. I can't find myself starting something else till I finish what I started. Drives me nuts.

    Yes, I do believe it is time to finish what I started. Next will be the Porter...
    (DUH Phil!).
    You can continue to vote though, it will help decide what comes after the Porter.

    Good for the Porter: They made great little locomotives. I'm also a model rr'er, and I like using little engines on my somewhat cramped layout. I haven't built a card locomotive yet--this will be my first.

    go racers

    Ditto for penny racers. . .btw, what's with HAL? Is "he" your alter-ego?

    I didn't notice...he DOES look like HAL...but he is NOT HAL!
    He is a " one eye one leg tiny hopping hoverbot"...I'm saving him for a prop.
    Rob, I am honored!!!...ALL ABOARD!

    penny racer

    Is this a paper model? I have never seen a penny racer paper model.

    Because I haven't created one yet. lol
    Yes, Penny Racers are a paper (cardstock) model that will actually roll. They will come with a two lane launch pad for racing with your friends.
    Along the lines of the home-made wooden toy racers we built and raced in the Boy Scouts.

    Are they listed somewhere for sale or download?

    This poll was intended to ask members, which model should I design first.
    The Penny Racers have not been designed yet.

    Okay, I'm not tracking. . . silly of me to ask where to download when it hasn't been desiged.

    I would like to have something like this. My kids play with literally everything I build. I have to make it very clear if it is to be saved.

    Thanks for your understanding, I will try not to be so dense from now on.
    (My wife would laugh if she heard this, so no one tell her okay?)

    No problem bud, thanx for showing interest!
    They are next on my list after the Porter choo choo, and the download will be here and my website...give it at least a month.

    I will do no more toy designing until further notice...sorry.
    Got to finish the Porter.

    When you do get back to designing, I had a brainstorm for the fishing Diarama...

    Grumpy Old Men... Or, more specifically, Grumpier old men. With both guys in the boat, with their tuxes, and Catfish Hunter between them....

    Huh?? Huh??? :twisted:
