I have narrowed DCC down to 2. Prodigy Express or Digitrax Zephyr
Will run no more then 3 loco but want to be able to switch turnouts down the road with remote, also looking to run sound and lights on loco.
    Any thoughts

Of the two, I'd recommend the Digitrax. MRC hasn't really impressed me (decoder wise), and, I've been most closely connected to Digitrax. I would recommend, at some point, if you go with Digitrax, purchasing a DT400 throttle.
It isn't required, the Zephyr has its own throttle, and with the jump feature, you can use a DC power pack as a throttle. The DT400 is just so much easier to program with.

I'll second that. As a "convert" to DCC, I am using two of my older powerpacks as throttles for now. Eventually I do plan to "upgrade" to a walk-around throttle. D'trax has an outstanding track record.
