Kinda stole this one from GW's signature line, but it got me thinking.

What is your dream job? Why?

    For me: Bullpen Catcher.

1)On the field in a Major League ball park for every game of the seaseon.
2)Pretty good salery to sit on a bucket and catch fastballs.
3)All the benifits and retirement due a former player in MLB.

There are some other perks as well, but those are the biggies.

my ultimate dream job would be the Host of a Dakar race website, and be able to visit the race each year.

and in the off time, collect information and collectables, and build models.

(p.s. Ashrunner reminded me, personal assistant or massage specialist to Catherine Bell and Catherine Zeta Jones   )

I have already accomplished half of my dream job -- Arctic explorer. The other half is Antarctic explorer. Almost made it a long time, in another dream job far, far away.

While waiting for that to happen, chief photographer for an SI Swimsuit Edition would keep me happy. 8v)

:D And watch out what you wish for....last person I knew that wished to be a stud is now in the suspension of an Abrams tank with a large hexnut on his head.

    Dream job?
Don't want to be a pilot--know firsthand it's damned hard work.
    Taught--what a letdown that was
Travel--had more than my share--home looks just fine.
Sex--highly overrated as you get a bit long in the tooth
Got my dream job: retired from the rat race...sit in my backyard & watch the Blue Angels practice--fish a little, golf a little--relax a lot.

Ever seen the original film 'Bedazzled', with Peter Cook and Dudley Moore? Every time the Dudley Moore character gets granted a wish by the Devil (Peter Cook) he forgets to ask for one important 'feature' and each new heaven turns out to be a hell instead.

I think I am happy with the job I have right now. I get paid to operate an SLA machine, and next week add a CNC machining centre to my armoury. Can't think of nicer toys for a dyed-in-the-wool modelmaker to get to play with all day long!

Of course, what I want is a private income so I can buy my own toys......

Just a job where my skills are appreciated, I'm not underpaid, overpaid or deemed overqualified so that I can ultimately just buy a house for my family...

It sounds like you've got it about right. When I do retire I'd love to be a part time fishing guide and back yard boat builder. Maybe that's why I'm about to start my second homebuilt boat. The first one was nearly twenty years ago!
