Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Digitrax's command station DCS100 and the DB150?
The DCS100 has read back capabilities which is very usefull if you are programming decoders. the DB150 does not have the capability of reading back.
Check on the note that Tony has on his site. http://www.tonystrains.com/products/digitrax_stsets.htm
In addition to the read-back features of the DCS100 (ie you can read back the cv's that have been programmed into your decoders), the DCS 100 is capable of running more trains at once 22 for the DB150 and 122 for the DECS100 - not that you'll ever be running more than 22 trains at one time on your layout.
For some laws of DCC and the 22 versus the 122 trains, check out this webpage on my website.
