what is it Yaniv?
i miss tha file
To me is a Supermarine S.6B
Nope...Gloster IV A.
Or perhaps a Gloster IV B (Napier Lion)
No paper models that I know of but theCurtiss R3C-2
was also a biplane Schnieder Trophy racer
Concur on the identity with Maurice - definitely Napier Lion powered - look for the 3 banks of cylinders of the W-engine.
I have a recollection there's a model of the Piaggio floatless prototype that was intended for the Schneider trophy around. I can't remember where I saw it though.
Macchi M39 - see photo on this Schneider Cup page... http://www.bluebird-electric.net/schneider_trophy_races.htm
Wrong caption there Ron, the M39 made do with half the number of wings.
I meant the Piaggio P.C. 7 - (http://www.aerei-italiani.net/PEGNAPC7.htm)
Never made it to a race but it was designed for the Schneider Cup.
De Wayne offers it at: http://www.teuton.org/dbarnett/civil.htm
I think I have to concur on the Gloster IV.b - the Macchi 39, 67 and 72 float strut configurations do not match the photo.
I am with maurice and ron.
For sure a Gloster VI.b
Just found this link
A beautiful aeroplane and surely worth modeling
Yeah my first thought was Supermarine............... but the center hump messed that up............I agree it's of Gloster linage..........
Dang...just when I, a certifiable Ship Geek, thought I had something worthy to contribute for the Propeller Heads. My bubble is burst  I shall slink back off to the dockyards.
I've to remember don't write posts late in the night
Of course I'm wrong.
I agree is a Gloster IV racer.
... come back ... come back ... I didn't mean it like that .....
Maurice, I thnik you nailed it with the first link. It did contain the same picture.
