... As always. What are you looking for? What do you want it to do? Do you want to build it? Do you know a lot about RC's already?

"Do you know a lot about RC's already?" not really...
and I was thinking about tamiya TA-04 since there are so many parts
and I want belt drive system. so which one is the best?

is TA-04 good enough to be in a race?

Yes, however you want to make sure your not going to be in rough asphalt or loose dirt. Belt drives dont like that. Also, look at chassis space. Is it going to fit what you need under there.

thanks, and do you know how much is it? is the one from the store cheaper or on-line?
    TA-04 S
    TA-04 R
    TA-04 SS (too short)
    TA-04 Pro
TA-04 TRF (I want to buy this since I don't need to upgrade much)
    is this a good idea?

    thanks

Typically online is going to be cheaper, I will agree with sparky if you can go with a direct/shaft drive system over a belt it will hold up much better and require less maintance especially if you are just starting out..

If you need some online shops, pm and I will send you some links to discount stores that we have arrangements with and or get you the best deal I can find...

Welcome to the forums btw :)

sorry, I am kind of new, so I don't really know what the words mean
    "direct/shaft drive system"

Direct Drive - uses a Shaft to connect the rear end to the front end for 4wd

Lol... Here, lets start fresh. What exactly is it you want to be able to do with this car and what is your spending Limit?
  14. nekmiyevo2

    nekmiyevo2 Guest

ok, I want it fast but not to fast (since I will chash a lot)
I want the car has strong pull power
I don't really need it to drift, but it's nice that I can do it

Chassis has nothing to do with speed or pulling power ect. Thats all motor and your setup. From all of what im gathering from you (not to be rude, i mean this in your best interest) your new to the game. I would sugguest going with a TC3 or another tub chassis. They are sturdy and stiff. As far as crashing, a TC3 is WELL known so you wont have any problems getting parts. So, for reliability, price, ect i would just go with the Electric TC3 Ready To Run.

    how about TC4?
  17. SpArKeY_STi

    SpArKeY_STi Guest

Do they make a TC4 RTR? If they do then ya, i wouldnt get it for a while still tho cause they are still working the bugs out of the tc4
  18. nekmiyevo2

    nekmiyevo2 Guest

    so how much is it?
  19. nekmiyevo2

    nekmiyevo2 Guest
