What are the symptoms of a burnt out engine

    What are the symptoms of a burnt up engine? I think mine might be..........

    Running really hot, needle settings are way off then what they should be,runs poorly. How is the engine running?

    No power and chasing the timing is a real good sign, RED

    That basically means having to constantly change the carb. settings [more than you usually would ] to keep the engine running , you see lack of compression means plugs that dont last, carb. settings that work at one temp. but not another and there for are always changing, inother words very hard to keep tuned, RED

    Well those sound like what my engine is doing, Im gonna take it in to the LHS and see whats up.. Thanks

    well if your engne is bad and you dont have enuf for a brand new 1 or the wasp .18 just buy a rebuild kit for it, piston,sleeve and on...

    well the rebuild kit is 60 bux so i might as well just save 40 more for the wasp
