Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum

I had the good fortune of being able to visit the Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum in Gibsonia, Pa today. I must say I didn't allow myself enough time. Anyone within 250 miles of Pittsburgh should plan on visiting, and I would recommend getting there when they open, because if you don't you will not have enough time to enjoy everything.
The layout is based on the B&O line from Pittsburgh to Cumberland Maryland, and the scenes are very close to prototype.
The members we talked to were very polite and friendly, and very able to answer questions.
If you live farther away an overnighter is in order. Their web site is

Wow, that is great, thanks for the pictures.

I found out about this place last year, but didn't get a chance to go. This year I plan to make it.

Also, the Pittsburgh Hi-Railers also have a large "O" display in the lower portion of Northway Mall on McKnight Road.
