Hey CNWman, what are those wires, track power, or a powered uncoupling ramp?

Track power, my Railpower1370 DC controler is just beyond the bottom edge of the pic.

Tom, sleekjr, chessie, that boxcar is my very first attempt at weathering, so it's great to see positive remarks on it:mrgreen::thumb: It's one of the 'Walther's Classic Kit' line, an FGE insulated boxcar.

I was looking through railpictures.net when I found what apears to be one of the last services of a certain engine's original employment:

...and a shot of it's recent employment:

Tom, Charlie, Mark, Gary...Thank you for the nice comments!:thumb:

Mark...The layout is just taking up too much of the family room in the basement so....I decided to dismantle it. The family was fine with it but I didn't think it was fair to hog so much of the usable space. I am planning on changing to a shelf layout as soon as possible.:winker:

Here's a shot of the "town" I never got a chance to finish:cry:

Canada, eh?
Here's a view of the guardrails in use on a skewed deck girder bridge over Valley Inn Road, near Bayview Junction, Burlington, Ontario.

The "junk" piled at right appears to be the remnants of a rubberised level crossing. Here are a couple more pictures:

Hey guys, not much new from me lately, that cold/flu really beat me down. wall1

Here's some shots of my new GHQ equipment, pre-painting. If you look close, you'll see one material handler is not done, it was missing parts. I'm waiting on a reply from GHQ.

Jesso, I ran the loco at the LHS on their loop track. Ran pretty well. I don't have any really track in place on my layout yet to test it their though.

Also, I haven't DCC'd yet. It will eventually though.

Ralph, That is one fabulous complex. Many hours of work there. however, I did look quite hard but didn't see any cars of Gern Flux being delivered. I must assume that it was backordered, as I know how Doctor Waynes additive makes cement 700 times harder and that you wouldn't let them make an inferior product would you?

Thanks Charlie! I think GERN and their fine products are going to take over the world! :)

I'm almost finished with the locomotives for the Midland Gulf Railway. Here they are, pretty much as they sit at the moment.

Here you can see the PA2 and the GP50 and just to the right of the shed you can see the front of the F7-A.

In this shot you can see the SD9.

And here is the GP38-2, beat up and showing it's age.
