Great Photos every one...

Here are some picts from our family trip last weekend. We stopped in Green River, Utah along the old DNRG line to admire some old structures.

I thought This "Tie Shed" would be a great building for a train room

This is an old shed structure with the DNRG depot in the background.

That is ...or was...a trailer from a Trailvan train resting in that gon. Why do I think Pennsy fans get some smug satisfaction seeing that healthy Pennsylvania box car with the keystone in the photo? :)

Two posts and I keep forgetting to add a photo for the thread! :)

Here is a Kings Port & Western 50 foot box dirtied up with the reverse weathering process.

Hello everybody.

I just want to say that, even if I don't find time and energy to post,
I still do a lot of lurking. It's great to look at all of these photos whilst
sitting, relaxing, and drinking coffee.

Thank you, all of you, for your photos.

At last, here's one from me: it's a photo, and I hope you agree that it's fun.

In a dark, dingy corner of worktopland, scraptown began to boom
as the railroads switched away from steam. Those heavy lorries
really churned up the roads as they carried loads that today would have
the lorries impounded. They were run into the ground.

That switcher has seen better days, and it won't be long before it
joins all those fine steamers. But hang on! The owner is a railfan!
Do you think he might be persuaded to conserve it?
