Weathering Building

Brick building.

I just can't get it right It's either too dark or too "whitish":curse:

I try the method of painting (weather) the brick with a wash of 50% beige-white paint & 50% water. I let it sit for a minute or so and than i wipe it off. I also use a darker-black-kinda color too.

Still I don't like the looks of it.

Any ideas

On plastic brick I use light gray acrylic and thin it real thin, about 1/10 and paint it flat so gravity draws most of the gray goes into the motar lines. If it don't want to flow right and cover the face of the brick a little I use a tad of detergent. Hope this helps? DASH
