Rather than paint a scenery shell with latex paint has anyone got advice on using artists acrylic washes to achieve a similar result. Also any suggestions on a formula for terrain as depicted in Southern Arizona [ ie; the Tucson area]. Thanks all

I would try a mixture of burnt sienna and water to make something with that type of color. If it is not red or orange enough add a few drops of red or orange acrylic paint until your happy with the color. Make sure you keep a record of how you made the mixture so you can repeat it in the future if it needs touching up. Pat
