Some nice FREE Viking ship models. They can be enhanced with a little thought and workmanship. :)

Get real brave, and try this: http://forum.woodenboat.com/showthread.php?137436-Gokstad-Faering-Design-Study

Read this page, and ask nicely, I'll CAD the hull pieces, you do the rest, but you need to have put your part in it rather than ask a lot of questions which can be answered by reading the above. This will give the a "REAL" set of plans from an actual Viking boat, meausred to the last inch. Not a guestimate. It will be as accurate as you wish to make it. It will goo along well the the series "The Vikings' on the History Channel! :)

Maybe I'll bang out the Hull to show you. :)

Some Renders I popped out really fast. I have some nice lofting I have to dig up to make a properply faired hull, but this should give you an idea of what a small, very small, Viking ship would look like. :)

I have found a beautiful Viking ship model, made from the plans of the Mondorfer ship that was unearthed virtually intact. This is an excellent model and it is FREE! This model would make the basis for an even more detailed model if researched and extra work is put it, but it is also great the way it is.:)
Link :(lots of other nice models too, the speedboat, MB Hamster is a beauty too!):

Hey, if you can wait, I will split the Hull and attach the beams properly, as they care cut perpundically to the faired lines, which really kills a model, and it takes away of your effort. By making them slightly oversize, you can laminate them to slightly thicker cardboard, and actually "Lapstrake" the Hull on, which changes the whole look of the ship, I can also make better colors too, and add some detail, even scale the model bigger. Let me know. I will probably be doing this. I have another sailing boat in the downloads that I remade the hull for, it really brings them to life. :)
