...it was an Amtrak Ph III livery, I stripped only the red/white/blue stripe of and started with one coat of white and a second with the light gray, masking, yellow color, masking again and the final black color - decals are from SGS and the numbers from Alps MD-5000 ;) ;)

Couplers on your VIA coaches

Steve....What kind of coaches are you using on your VIA consist (Con-Cor or custom-painted Katos)?
I bought six Con-Cor coaches with knuckle-type couplers but they have trouble staying together behind my new P42s. They come apart on straight track, too. My layout is not tight, all my curves are about 24" radius.

Anyone else have this problem with the Con-Cor knuckle couplers?

BTW, love that paint job. Now we just need some LRC cars.
