    it depends on what source you use?

    what figures did you use when designin it Nothing?

    i found many different notations as to its actual size (just like as with all trek-ships)

    the most common Intrepid class numbers are
    344.95 _ x _ 128.95 _ x _ 74.45
    342 _ x _ 144 _ x _ 55
    343 _ x _ 133 _ x _ 66
    342.5 _ x _ 144.84 _ x _ 55.42

    sorry guys my kids are draining me. ive gotsome parts for the secondary hull cut out and ready. ill work on them tomorrow. ive also got some test builds going for other people so thats slowing me down a little. but ill have some progress in the next day or 2.

    Remeber this is supose to be FUN!!! So we can wait while you take care of life. Kids are only Kids for a few years enjoy them as they enjoy the season.

    ok got the spine done and finishe the bottom primary hull.

    Yes, this really is an interesting build, primarily because the geometry on the Voy is so wonky and your parts are looking so good.:thumb:

    this is half of the secondery hull. i laid it out flat and using a flexible glue began attaching the tabs bit by bit. once the glue cures ill begin shaping it.
    im going to wait on the window units till i get the shape down.

    I looked this model over and the section you mentioned does look a bit tedious. What was the glue you used?

    i used sobo by delta. it dries flat and clear is flexible when dry and forms a strong bond.

    got most of the shape down. when it gets attached it will all pull together.

    the other side of the hull's forward window section has a flap that needs to be folded in.(it didnt make it to the window peice:cry:)

    the secondery hull halves together! im starting to get realy excited about finishing this!!
