First off, TOS is awesome, and I have to say, the best. Kirk is better!! I found this model at paper Hollywood, which linked me to another site which I beleive to be the Lower hudson valley gift shop or something like that. It is a fantastic model with excellent instructions. It is identical to the original bridge in the episodes, I spent time comparing while watching, and it is in a very good scale.

I know it looks rough, But it's only my second model I've ever made. I cheated on the chairs, they had tiny tabs that I didn't want to cut out, so I cut them into rectangles instead.

I also had trouble with getting the seat pads to match the curve of the chair back to glue it on. I have a dowel and skewer I can use for curving, but it didn't work the way I thought.

Lastly, I used pliers on tough spots where things didn't want to come together. Squeeze extremely hard, and viola!

Feel free to post comments and advice, or even criticism. Also, post models you have enjoyed, I'd love to try them out.

Looks great! This is my number one favorite model I ever built. I catch myself staring at mine very time I see it.

I like it, it came out great. The colors also came out vivid, that printer has good color qualities which also helps to enhance the build even further. The folks around here are always hungry for photos, give us more. Enjoy and see you around the forum.

I think you did a great job, thanks for the pictures and kind words.

The chairs are a little tricky; I apologize for that. They were very challenging for me to design to look accurate and not be worse to build. After pre-shaping with a small dowel, start at the center of the seat back and work your way slowly to the edges. The outside part is slightly larger than the inside and they will line up. Tweezers really help out here too.

    Best Regards,

You did a fantastic job on the Enterprise Bridge. I've had this one printed out for sometime now. Might just have to give it a go when I finish the Colonial Defender. Thanks for sharing your build.
