Has anyone used decals for windows, etc on n-scale structures? If so how were the results and where did you find them?

Cant say that I have ever tried this method and don't think it would be all that great as you would still have the color and contour of the siding to contend with. If you give it a try show us a picture and I'm sure there will be some more input. I have tried to use computer generated doors and windows which after making a frame for the right size they did not look all that bad (from a distance) would not recommend this technique for front row models. Well I know that my dance hall kit by Con Cor came with a rather large amount of decals.
Unfortunately they were a bit beyond there time and they disintegrated the minute they hit water. No big loss really, just painted similar ones on the barn for a more rustic effect.
