Well gang...its happened....I asked for help from you guys and the reply was overwhelming. The kids have several locos, some rolling stock, enough track to complete the layout, several DC transformers, models, people...the whole nine yards. Someone even sent a DCC Steam Engine with real nice sounds. Got any idea where I can find the cheapest DCC Controller to run it on our outside loop? They also are looking for a cheap source of box cars they can build and paint to make the viking express. If the cost is low enough I can each student buy one to build and paint. That would be a 39 car train,lol on a 6x10 layout. A gentleman is coming on monday to help me lay the track and soder the joints...get things running. All in all I can already say this project is a sucess. The kids are learning knew things, increasing their math skills, and just plain having fun!!! Thanks Crew...
