Hey everybody. I was up at Allentown on 11/11/01 and on a NS coal train was a Dash 9 on the head and then a UP SD90MAC. does anybody else see this train or know why it was there. Thanks.

Seriously, though, I think NS and UP have some partnerships of some kind. I'm curious about the coal train, as well. I've seen NS locos pulling trains on UP lines down here in Texas (on tracks on which they do not show having haulage rights on their web site).

Don't know for sure and don't have any details, but chances are it was a run-through train. We often see UP power here in Upstate New York.
