Heres some shots of a UP mixed freight:thumb:. This UP train is just coming into Chicago from UP's "Rock Valley Sub" in Southern Wisconsintooth1. Not only is this consist bringing freight back to Proviso Yard in Chicago, but it's transferring some motive power back there too:thumb:.

On the point we have an SD70M followed by an SD60M, two SD50's one of them is one of the last unpainted Rio Grandes:thumb:, and an SD40-2SN followed by a string of mixed freight:D. If your a UP fan(like me:D), or you just like watching a freight "Roll-By", just sit back, and enjoy the show:thumb:. THANKS!:D-Deano

Deano!!!!!!!
Excellent roll-by!!:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Seeing so much of your rolling stock at the same time really drives home the importance of varying the amount of weathering for a more realistic look....and you do that perfectly!!!:)
That was a lot of work (I'm sure) but from where I'm sitting.....well worth it!:)
Thanks for the show! It was flat-out AWESOME!!:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Canada, eh?
Great run-by, Dean!!:thumb: :thumb: To quote a friend, "Slap awesome!!":D I like the mix of cars that you've used, and also the variations in the weathering. There's a spot near me where the road parallels the track, and the scene is similar. I'm still trying to convince my wife that we should wait down there for a train to show up, then she could drive, pacing the train, while I take some pan shots.:D For some reason, she doesn't seem too enthused about the idea.

That is great Deano! Loved all the pictures. The weathering really looks good. That Rock boxcar is fantastic.

Oh, I noticed it, alright, and the thought is much appreciated.:)

I'll bet that Josh (TruckLover) will be pleased to see your first out-take (it is nice, even if it is a truck) , and your second "blooper", well, I like it, but it's frustrating to know that if I tried to recreate that scene on my layout, set in the '30's, the visual impact just wouldn't be the same.:D :D

I just noticed there is a hooker in the train! And if the blooper didn't get edited out, in the very next shot would have been a very provocatively dressed woman!sign1
