UP Heritage Units complete

I had both of these units made for me and I have waited almost two months for them to come in. I must say I could'nt be happier with the way they turned out. Both have sound decoders in them, the only down side I can say about the MRC sound decoders are the LED's, they have a bluish tint rather than the bright white LED that the Digitrax has. However, in spite of that they are working well and I am still messing with the functions. As you can probably tell I am currently building my layout and the track you see is only a test track. I have almost completed a track plan that I think I can settle on. I will keep you updated as it progresses

WOW those are great looking!!! Now the big question...are you going to weather them up or leave them freshly painted??? I know I'd have a really hard time even weathering them a little.

KMInspector:wav: , even though the REAL heritage units are SD70ACe's , the SD70M's you had them done in are SLAP FANTASTIC!!!:bravo:

I like the Rio Grande as the best of the two:winki: , but like i said, they BOTH are FANTASTIC!:thumb::thumb::thumb: i would be VERY PROUD to have them, i don't know what you paid for them, but i am sure it was worth it:winki: .

:deano: -Deano

EDIT: BTW, they keep those Units looking real sharp, i wouldnt worry about weathering them.

I wish someone made the ACe in N scale, and yes I know that Overland makes them but they are brass and more than double the price I paid for these units. From what I understand no one is planning on making the SD70ACe in N scale for some time yet. By the way those are the Kato SD70M and if anyone wants info on how to get them, go to www.thefrieghtyard.com or semd me an email and I can help point you in the right direction. I am currently debating on the next unit I want to do and its between the MOPAC or Katy Heritage units.
