Unwanted Ads showing up in Zealot Forum

I just clicked on my link to the Zealot Hobby Forum via Mozilla Firefox browser 3.5.7. I was not yet logged in. (ok, all ,yes I was at the office, and should know better, but I needed a brief distraction...!)

All of a sudden my page was covered with "Infosearch" links, double underlines under lots of words and phrases -- as if these were user selected keywords -- "modeling" for example had a double underline that was an ad link.

I cleared my browser cache and tried again - same problem arose.

All of these links disappeared once I was logged in to my account as normal.

well its been a good long while since I have been privy to any of that but I THINK its part of being a member vs being a browsing guest. I am sure those have changed a lot but that would make sense based on the behavior.

Yup, that's exactly it. Cgutzmer nailed it.

If you just browse as a guest, you get all those damn infolinks and ads; log in as a member and the only ad you see should be in the upper right corner just under the main toolbar.

Even I have to endure that... :curse:

Makes sense here. Same type of thing (ads) happens on PM if not logged on.

Tks for catching this one Chris! :thumb:

Since you're using Firefox may I suggest the AdBlock Add-In.
