Yes this Rolls Royce mounted on railway wheels was used as an inspection speeder, by the President of Mayo Bros Logging, on Vancouver Isalnd, BC.
The car was a a sleek black 1930 Phantom II, 138 GN with Trupp and Maberly "Sedan de Ville" body. Lots of shiny chrome and big brass bell on the hood.
This would make a very intersting special car to kit bash for any railway.
