Internal Former parts before assembly. Spent 12 pages of A4 size cardboard.
Internal former assembly. I painted lower side with black spraying.
These are next pages. Waiting for coloring. These parts are wheel axels and suspension units.
Small progression at tender. Parts' dimension fitting test. They're all well fit.
OH MY, SHI* jawdropjawdropjawdropjawdropjawdropjawdropjawdrop i cant wait to see finished good work
I tried to make the skin look glossy.
1. Spray painting on 190 grams gloss paper.
2. Plot pattern by CraftRobo (Plotting/Blade Cutting machine).
3. Die cutting by CraftRobo.
4. Cutting white sticker for decal and paste on the pattern.
The sample is so nice. I decided to do for all black skins. :mrgreen:
Fitting test on the frame
unspeakable man, niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee work:wave7::wave7::wave7:
You sir, are a god of modeling in both paper and computer imageing. Aparently whatever can be made in plastic, you can make in paper and computer in even beter detail. This model is an example of your extrordanary talent for this stuff.:thumb:
As my mentor a Mr Wile E Coyote would say, genius, Pure Genius!
Been following this thread since February....
:thumb::thumb::thumb: This is so-so-so Fan-Tastic!!!!!!!!!!! :thumb::thumb::thumb:
Now you know you must keep going 'till it's completed... We minions that are in awe of your work, now must have closure, since you now have our complete attention!!
So, let me ask...when this model is released, will the skin pieces be just as you have shown here? If so, I'm on board with no hesitation!! What I have seen so far is nothing short of amazing!
PS - You have to finish... When it's completed,
I'm sure it could end up in The Academy over on the train forum...
Where we keep our tutorials we hold in high regard!!
Well, if we're going to start voting on moving this thread to the Academy already, then I vote yes!:mrgreen:
WOOOOWWWWWW...!!!..I can't believe you're doing this for FUN...!!!!!
Out of this world.....:thumb:
Holy Shiite Muslims!
I am SO buying one of these after I get the money! :thumb:
I've never seen a craft robo used for paper modeling, but wondered if it couldn't be done, that's very cool.
Since I don't have one, will I still be able to use a knife and will the UNION PACIFIC lettering simply be printed on the part?
Ofcourse I'll release the kit compatable for normal knife modelers. CraftRobo is just a tool for me to shorten model developing time.
The kit will be release with coloring. Modelers who prefer glossy skin can print to gloss paper or clear spraying to make glossy look.
Thank you for your question and kind words.
Hi to All
