I think it is sold as a dummy by MDC, what is powering it. If it is the stock MDC open frame motor, I'm not sure. If it has been powered by a can motor, then it is a deal.

I acqured a couple of the Climax kits from Ebay and paid less for both than you did for your one. However by the time I had them together I would not part with either as cheaply as yours.
After both have been painted

Those little climaxes really are great. Ive got one and also an MDC boxcab (uses the same drivetrain. Noisy little things. I really should clean them and try to inprove the electical pickups and them though.
