Lots of lovely engine bits
More engine and then work on the landing legs are trying to work out how they would go into the bay UHU02 is really putting a lot of work into this project so the results are likely to more even more stunning than we are used to which is saying something!!
Engines and undercarriage sorted UHU02 moves on to the cannons
hamrCannons with an interior!?! hamr
Yeah I know,exciting isn't it?!!:excited1:
Laser Cannon done!
Not only one of the best so far, but also one of the largest methinks! Wow!
In terms of EPIC this model is approximately Chuck Norris ascending Everest on a Unicorn.
A choice of R2 units
Spartacus, you paint quite a descriptive picture! Could not have said it any better. Thanks Master Uhu!
Sweeeeeet! I love them! :yep:
These R2 units are really cool.
interesting layered approach to the rear drive decking like the card making decoupage technique.
Yep, I get the idea. Really clever!
Seems there's a difference between Hyperdrive Plates, not unusual where physical models are used for filming detailing often being pulled out of the "spares box" so now there's two, A is for Red 3 and B for Red 5
The A version was used on original X-wing models from Episode 4, the B version is from the large (roughly double sized) X-wing that was build for Ep. 6 (or 5?).
That is some amazing detailing on the rear decks. Great research to discover differences, something I never noticed! This is one amazing model.
more of the outer skins and the start of the rear plate.UHU02 intends to use the same decoupage style as used on the hyperdrive deck.Very excited to see how this all turns out.
Rear plate choices again due to the difference in detail on the props.
