interesting... He always goes above and beyond. The detail on this simple barge should be outstanding! :)

Absolutely! I vividly remember seeing his Black Pearl for the very first time. It blew my mind because at that time I had had absolutely no idea that such a beautiful thing could be done in paper. :)

This is a subject that certainly deserves a fine representation, and knowing that UHU will be doing it make it's authenticity assured. I hope he understands that this keeps a history of great ship building alive. In being able to build this and hold it in your hands is something that few people of that period could have done. We will be able to hold in our hands something kings could not! This is quite a gift. I'm really excited about this! :)

Early days and already gorgeous. One of my favourite films Ray Harryhausen's Jason and the Argonauts featured the monoreme Argo and sparked an undying interest in ancient ships, myths and legends and stabby skeleton warriors. I might be ever so slightly a tiny bit excited about seeing this finished.

I was thinking UHU Skeletons would be neat to incorporate into some kind of juxtaposition, if one could think of one. :)

I'd like to see more "down to Earth projects" but will take what I can get. UHU has a way with "Real subjects" that is great for the modeling world. (He was a way with the "Not so real" too), the Midas touch! :)

That is pretty awesome Cforrest900, I could see quite a few members picking up on that. :)

Working on the planking and how to get the twist to fit the hull. UHU02 puts a staggering amount of work into designing these models not just research of the subject but into the engineering involved in putting them together. A big thank you once again to UHU02 for all the hard work.
