Two Bachmann Spectrum diesel questions

Has anyone purchased the new Bachmann Spectrum F7 A/B unit? Just curious about the construction and quality. It "looks" nice in the LHS display case...but how does it run? The other Spectrum diesels I have run pretty loudly (compared to the Kato and IMT engines) so I'm wondering if this one is the same.

Secondly, has anyone changed the couplers on Spectrum engines over to the Microtrain coupler? Easy process? Any problems?

i am assuming you mean the N gauage version - i have the A-B set and have been very pleased with them, one of them the motor isnt sat totally square so it binds every so often but they are decently powerful and are fairly quiet (although not as quiet as another club members Kato F3 A-B-A set).

Havent done the microtrains coupler conversion yet though!
