i am building the American Enterpise a scale dumas ship. it has twin screw drives i have ordered the running hardware kit twice from my local hobby shop. Both times the shafts were bent. The guy i spoke with at dumas said bent shafts wont hurt anything. Thats a really stupid comment..... any way i was wondering if anyone new of a alternate drive kit for this boat or another twin screw drive kit with shafts at least 14 inches long

Look up M.A.C.K. Products. I know that there is a link in www.midwestproducts.com . They sell drive kits for most electric powered boats. You have apparently dealt with an Idiot at Dumas. Bent drive shafts even at low speeds can tear up the stuffing boxes tranferring into the hull, adding an extra load on the motor, build up heat and all kinds of other problems. What a Moron.
