tuning RB C5

    car: inferno 7.5
    engine: RB C5 -rodneytuned-

    just bought a C5 how any tipd on breaking in?

    after the break in , any tips on tuning it

    the rb engines have a ton of compression. You should heat the block up really hot with a hairdryer/heatgun before trying to turn it over. This makes it start alot easier. Do this for the first 5 starts and after that the pinch will not be so strong because the engine will have seated in. Take your time tuning it and dont lean it out to quickly. burn 1/2 a gallon at super rich breakin settings and then lean it slowly. Be gentle with it until it is nicely broken in. Rb engines are very nice mills and will last you a long time if you treat them nicely. You will love that engine it is really powerful and super high reving!
