Hi everyone! I was on holiday so, my B-737 is still waiting...
However I had an occasion to see my old models collection.

Here is an old Tu-154 from Kranich - Modellbogen printed on a metalfoil, which I was given by my uncle many years ago.
Please excuse a sorry looking state, but it was made a long time ago.

I really like those old school models printed on metalfoil:cool:
Hope one day I'll make a new one...

Just wonderful, hope some editor would develop efforts to modernise this and other historic kits and re-launch them in full software-type accurance. It would certainly make many people happy... Congratulations!

    Wirklich schön!:thumb:
Ich wünschte ich hätte so was auch und könnte es bauensign1
aber Kranich Modelle sind heute leider sehr teuer und fast schon zu selten um sie zu bauen:cry:

    Really nice!

I wish I had something like that too, and it could build
But Crane models are unfortunately very expensive and almost too infrequently to build them

I know what You mean. It is really not easy to get them, some of them were reprinted like Tu-134, Tu-144, An-22, Il-18, but the main part of Kranich Models is almost forgotten! The one You can find are very expensive and almost 40 years old. One day, for example, I was lucky and I bought an old An-12 and L-29 Albatros from Maly Modelarz, their pages were even more brown than my summer tan!

    Best regards

    It would be nice.

The model looks good, especially for a 40 year old kit. I wasn't aware that card models had been made in metalfoil in the past. Can someone describe metalfoil?

I bought on ebay, the beam-sport aircraft "Komsomoletz".
the arc umfast two models on metal foil. Metal foil is a silver shiny glazed paper around as if someone had glued a thin aluminum foil on paper and then printed.
But I dare not recognize me as the scissors because
the bow is older than I, from 1962sign1

    Nice build.

I saw a Kranich Mig-21 for sale for $60 on one of the merchant's sites. Neat retrospective but a bit rich for me.
