ive got a t-maxx project goin and i was wondering wat was better a trx 2.5 or a hot bodies .18
The TRX has a slide carb with hi and low adj. the .18 has hi adj, no low adj. You'll have to get an old os carb to have both adj. The TRX has more overall power and more RPM. The .18 has a little more torque but not near the RPM. And it's just a cheap motor.
There is a new small block .21 that just came out if you want a lot of power, direct bolt in.
wat kind of engine is it and were can i get it. im lookin for a good priced engine
Picco P2 Monster .21 www.werksracing.com
I think Sirio has one too.
would a OFNA Hyper .21 8 Port Nitro engine be good
It's a great engine but you will have to have the conversion kit for the T-maxx.
if anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.
do i need all the parts in the conversion kit.if not wat do i need
you would need the basic kit
does the kit just basicly extend the chassis
yes, and comes with a engine mount for the big block.
y does it need to be extended? does it have to do with weight distribution or can i just mount the engine back farther on the chassis.
The engine (big block) will not fit, it's too long. The back of the engine will hit the rear shock tower and the clutch gear will not line up with the spur gear.
thanks man uve been a big help
