Athearn 48' Ribbed Yellow Frieght Trailer (still need to fix the landing gear on this trailer) sign1
Walthers 48' Terminal Trucking Trailer ~~~ This trailer I weathered heavily to go along with my coal mine as a portable storage unit. I might also use it on construction sites to as a storage bin for equipment or supplies
Atlas XRTA Lease 45' Pines Trailer #1
I bought a ton of the Atlas 45' Pines trailers!!!! I got 12 of them for $78!!! ~~~ 6 XTRA Lease 45'ers, 4 Redon 45'ers, and 2 Burlington Motor Carriers 45'ers    I paineted the hubs on all the trailers because the standard black that they come in just didnt suite my liking lol. Its going to take me a while to weather all 12 of these babies up but everyone of them is going to be different, some heavily weathered, some lightly weathered and some in-between.
Sadly, all the trailers that I got wont have the 4 metal bars on the rear of the trailer for the doors, the majority of all the bars were all bent when I opened them in the little bags, im having to use 2-3 trailers to complete 1 trailer with the bars and they cant be straightend back out. wall1 :curse: Im only gonna have maybe 5-6 trailers fully completed with the door bars on them. wall1 :curse: wall1 :curse: I ended up using some of the slightly bent ones as you will be able to tell in the pictures, but hey, I think it adds a little character to them lol. I might try contacting Atlas to see about getting some replacements, even if I have to pay for them, they cant be that much.
XTRA Lease 45' Trailer #1 with Orange Hubs, all the XTRA Lease trailers that I got have UPS reporting marks on them so that is why an OVERNITE Transportaion Mack was used, UPS bought out OVERNITE. This cab has yet to have the UPS logo added on the door.

VERY NICE! :thumb: Not over done and looks great. Has anyone ever done the reflective tape for the bottom of the trailers on your models? I was thinking of doing it but have not yet. Here is a picture of what I am talking about.
I have a few trailers that have the tape on the bottom and rears but they are all factory pained on, I have never put them on myself although I have wanted to
A-LINE sells the decal packs that have the reflective tape on them, I have been thinking of getting a few packs but havnt yet lol
All the XTRA Lease Trailers that I just got have the tape on the bottoms and rears.
A-Line.... you dont have a website or link do you? I would be willing to try this out if its not to costly or if no one else hasnt already.
Im sure you have been to there website before sign1
anyways, here is the link to A-LINE's web site to the page with the decals on them, they are at the very bottom of the page under the catogory "Trailer Decal Sets" Item #50162

Nice job TruckLover! I really think you do a great job with weathering your trucks! I have two questions, though. The first one is do you have any Old Dominion trucks. and the seccond is do you have this truck?
Optimus Prime - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Old D is one of the few companies that I dont have in my collection yet, I make my own decals for all the companies and Old D's logo was just to hard for me to create lol
So I will just have to buy there decals from Microscale, no big deal. I see Old D alot around my house (I live next to an industrial area with lots of trcuk traffic). I want to model a whole fleet of Old D's trucks, about 8 28'ers, maybe 1 or 2 32'ers, 4 45'ers, 6-7 48'ers and 8 53'ers. Old D is one of my favorite US shipping companies and I want to model a few of the trucks that I see around here.
Do you have any Old D trucks?
As for the second one in the link, I cant say I have that one sign1
We do! He caused a three car pileup when he picked up that guy in his left hand from the parking lot.
I brought up Old D 'cause there was this one time when my family was going down to Tenn. and we saw an Old D truck. Nothing special happened, and we parted ways. Later, when we got onto a different highway, we pulled up to what looked like THE SAME OLD D TRUCK FROM EARLIER!!!!! Now my family has this little joke that Old D is "stalking" us, because we see it now and then when the whole family is together. Plus, just yesterday, an Old D truck pulled up RIGHT NEXT to us on the highway, and my family had believed that Old D only operated in the Eastern states! For owning any, not yet, but I was gonna add some of them as a in-joke for the fam. The second one was a joke, concidering you are "TRUCKLover", and good 'ol Optimus is a truck in most cases
Oh, and yes, I do have Optimus Prime (the Armada one).
Trainnut, that looks like one heck of a monster on your sweet layout hahahahaha
hahahaha I think that Old D drives in lower 48 states but I could be wrong. Thats quite a story lol, you shoulda looked at the trailer # or cab # to see if it was in fact the same truck sign1sign1
