I am looking inot buying a railroad simulator for my PC. I have been shopping around and have even taken a few demos for a spin.
Can anyone give me a recomendation?

I've seen a demo for Trainz that was great, and the Toronto Railway Historical Society worked to build the Toronto Rail Lands (now included in the simulator).

However, having a Mac means that I do not have a simulator myself. Trainz did promise a Mac version about 2 years ago, but no news since.

MSTS is GREAT and very realistic- you can get almost any train from anywhere in the world!

But maybe you should wait before buying the older version since Microsoft is releasing Train Simulator II soon- using "Flight Simulator" X something or other.
