I recently came across some dry transfers of these that I had bought for my HO layout; but never had a chance to install them before a sudden move forced me to disassemble it and start over in N scale. So, the dry transfers are in HO scale, would I still be able to use them on my N scale layout?

Oh yeah.....depending on what you want to do. I've thought about using HO scale transfers for the sides/back of my buildings like you still sometimes see on older buildings like the ones I model. Remember seeing advertisements painted directly on the sides of building bricks/wood? It would be something advertised more permanently - like "Mail Pouch" or "Red Man" on the side of a barn, or "John Deere" on a building. I've even thought of using some of the smaller ads from the yellow pages. The paper is very thin and the artwork is pretty good. Save those old phone books - you never know but there might be a good layout picture in one.
