Track maps

Does anyone know of any resource similiar to Thomas Guide that has current and former trackage maps for various states?

In particular I am looking for California first (since I live here) and secondly Washington (where my wife and I want to live)

I have seen a railroad atlas at Prestige Hobbies in Hobby City in Stanton just down the street from Knots Berry Farm. It is a bit far from Brentwood. The last time I visited Allied Model Trains, he had a fairly well stocked book section. The railroad Atlas was for all 48 states in the Continental U.S., I don't remember if it had Canada listed. I don't remember who published it.

I'd recommend "Steam Powered Video's Comprehensive Railroad Atlas"

There is also a volume on the Pacific Northwest, and, well, the rest of the US as well.
